I. Details of the event/activity

        On June 1, 2024, I took the initiative to enroll in an online course titled "Build a Full Website using WordPress" offered on Coursera. The course aimed to provide comprehensive guidance on creating a complete website leveraging the WordPress platform.

 

II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

         Before I started the course, I was really looking forward to gaining some hands-on skills in WordPress website development. I wanted to understand how websites are structured, learn about all the customization options available, and figure out how to add cool features like plugins and themes. Plus, I was hoping to pick up some tips on making websites look great and run smoothly for users.

 

III. Reflections on possibilities of implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learning)

        Reflecting on how to practically apply what I've learned about WordPress; I see several opportunities. Firstly, I can use my newfound understanding of website structure and customization options to create visually appealing and functional websites for clients or personal projects. Secondly, integrating various features such as plugins and themes can enhance the functionality and aesthetics of websites, improving user experience. Thirdly, implementing best practices for website design and optimization, such as responsive design and SEO techniques, can help ensure that websites perform well and attract visitors. Overall, by applying these principles and techniques in WordPress development, I can create high-quality websites that meet the needs of users and achieve desired outcomes.

 

IV. Positive Feedback (on the event organization)

      All I can say is that the course is beginner's friendly and the video tutorials were easy to understand. Hoping to enroll in just like this online course again in the future.

 

V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/considered for future activities

            I have no suggestions given that it was already good.
