On May 30, 2024, I joined an online orientation webinar that covered the membership and benefits of the Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, and the Pag-IBIG Fund. This session was incredibly helpful, offering detailed information that will be essential when I start looking for a job after graduation.

The webinar was designed to provide a thorough understanding of the purposes, benefits, and processes for joining SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG. It attracted a diverse group of students and professionals who were eager to learn more about these important social services.

Reflections on the webinar highlighted key learnings such as the importance of understanding the benefits provided by SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG, the processes for membership, and the significant role these social services play in ensuring financial security, healthcare access, and housing support for employees.

III. Reflections on possibilities of implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learning)

The insights gained from the webinar offer practical strategies for future implementation. Upon entering the workforce, I intend to promptly enroll in SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG to ensure seamless access to benefits and coverage. Maintaining consistent contributions to these programs is crucial for financial security. Moreover, I plan to leverage PhilHealth's health insurance services to effectively manage medical expenses when the need arises. Exploring Pag-IBIG's housing loan options in advance sets the groundwork for future endeavors in affordable home ownership. This enhanced understanding equips me with valuable knowledge as I prepare for future employment opportunities.

The webinar was excellently organized, providing clarity throughout the session. The speakers' expertise was evident, and they did a commendable job addressing the questions and concerns raised during the Q&A segment. Overall, it was a highly informative, engaging event and very helpful that exceeded expectations.

V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/considered for future activities

            The only suggestion that I want is that the PowerPoint presentation should display all the important links, forms, and steps on every membership registration.
