The "Data-Driven
Governance Competency Framework" webinar, organized by DICT on December
12, 2023, spanned five days. Unfortunately, I could only participate on the
second day due to a conflicting class schedule. Nevertheless, I gained valuable
insights into the data-driven approach for propelling advancements in the ICT
industry from the portions I attended.

Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)
Participating in this
webinar gave rise to a valuable learning experience. Despite only being able to
attend the second day due to a scheduling conflict with my class, the insights
gained about the "Data-Driven Governance Competency Framework"
broadened my understanding of the data-driven approach and its significance in
advancing the ICT industry.

Reflections on possibilities of implementing some of the webinar input on a
practical level (practical application of learning)
The webinar provided
hands-on learning experiences, offering a deep dive into the practical aspects
of the "Data-Driven Governance Competency Framework." Attendees like
me likely gained real-world insights into applying data-driven approaches for
effective governance in the ICT industry. We honed practical skills in using
data for decision-making, learned strategies to enhance governance through
data, and explored the day-to-day integration of data-driven methodologies. In
essence, the webinar equipped us with practical knowledge and tools to elevate
our proficiency in implementing data-driven governance within the dynamic
landscape of the ICT sector.

I would like to express
my positive feedback about this webinar, highlighting its rich content and the
enthusiastic engagement of participants who were eager to acquire new
knowledge. The speaker and other organizers deserve commendation for their
kindness and receptiveness to feedback from the audience. The event was not
only a valuable source of information but also created a positive and
interactive learning environment, contributing to the overall success and
effectiveness of the webinar.
V. Suggestions for improvements to be
made/considered for future activities
As
a suggestion for improvement, it would be great if they could extend the
presentation a bit longer. The participants were so engaged that they were left
wanting more.
